Déjà vu

We were finally successful getting some 9 month pictures. We tried 2 Saturdays ago but even their best guy couldn't get Isaac to crack a smile. David recently discovered the chicken dance (and sound effects) could make him laugh so we tried again and were able to get a few cute ones yesterday.

Yesterday was also an interesting day because Isaac didn't really take a morning nap. I figured he'd be completely wiped out and ready for bed early and he went down as normal around 7pm. About 30 minutes later we heard a little voice down the hall...I tried to ignore it so he'd go back to sleep but when we heard it again, I went to check on him. Good thing I did! Let's just say his diaper wasn't quite big enough for all he had to give it. And he spread it everywhere! All over the sheets, blanket, crib rails, and himself (face, arms, hands, etc.). We immediately started bath #2 and went through the nighttime routine again. Apparently, playing with poo makes a baby hyper and he would NOT go to sleep. He stayed up playing until 9pm and unfortunately, still woke at the normal time this morning. Ugh!
