Not ready for big people food

Isaac grabbed some arugila off my plate at Olive Garden yesterday. I thought he would just play with it a while but he actually sampled it. As you can see, it was not a hit. He was too cute though - he shuddered and made that ucky face several times for the next few minutes. We had to pull out a bottle of water to try to wash out the taste.

He also had another first yesterday. He normally goes right to sleep but last night, he started crying about 20 minutes after we put him down. I went in to check on him and there he was, standing in his crib, waiting for someone to help him back down. It's so weird to walk in his room and find him in a totally different position than when we left him. I got so used to the baby who couldn't do anything but scoot once he was laid down. What a big boy!
